Axero Solutions adds more Communifire features to stimulate user engagement while giving members greater custom control. In addition to customizable profile fields, members will now get realtime notifications and be able to see common connections to other participants within their online community.

Those value-adding features include custom profile fields as well as realtime notifications and email notification options. Members are immediately notified through their Communifire notifications, for example, of new activity of particular interest to them – such as when their content is edited, “liked,” or commented upon by another member. Users may also opt to have those alerts sent to their email addresses. The number of unread notifications is highlighted at the top of every page. Users simply click there for a quick view of new notifications or to read all past notifications.
A special display panel has also been added to the profile that shows mutual friends and connections. Seeing those will encourage members to establish new relationships with others who share those common personal connections. Not only that, but the new Communifire enhancements include tools that give community administrators the ability to add their own customized profile questions. Gathering that information helps create more dynamic interaction and improve collaboration between members, since each distinct community or network has its own particular areas of interest.
