Training at Scale Shouldn't Mean a Separate System

Organizations need to deliver, track, and manage employee training at scale. Pay for a standalone LMS and it adds cost and lives outside where people work; rely on manual processes and you get fragmented delivery, limited visibility, and low engagement.

Separate platform

A standalone LMS means another vendor, another login, and training that lives outside the tools employees actually use every day.

Split reporting

When course data sits in its own system, completion and compliance records live apart from the rest of your employee data — so proving who trained on what means reconciling across tools.

One more destination

Training in its own portal sits away from the news, documents, and people it relates to, so it becomes a tab employees have to remember rather than part of the workday.

An Internal Training Platform That Lives Where Your Team Works

As employee training software that runs natively inside your Axero intranet, the LMS keeps courses, lessons, quizzes, certificates, and reporting alongside the news, documents, and people your employees already work with — no external player, no extra portal.

  • Author courses with rich text, native video, documents, and SCORM 1.2 packages.
  • Gate completion on quizzes and trickle-release chapters so learning happens in order.
  • Auto-enroll people by persona so the right cohort gets the right training automatically.
  • Track progress, time spent, and completion — then export it the moment compliance asks.

Inside the Learning Center and Admin Dashboard

How a corporate LMS looks when it lives inside your intranet.

Learning sticks when it lives where people already work. Put courses, recognition, and the company homepage in one place, and training stops being the tab employees forget to open.

Built for every stakeholder

One LMS, Every Perspective Covered

L&D & HR

Launch training people actually finish.

Build courses in hours, auto-enroll by role, and stop chasing completion across spreadsheets and email threads.

Compliance

Prove who completed what.

SCORM tracking, quiz gates, and exportable reporting give you an audit trail without manual reconciliation.

IT & Digital Workplace

One less system to integrate.

No separate LMS to provision, secure, or sync — it runs inside the Axero platform you already manage.

Standards and reporting

Exactly What the LMS Supports

The specifics buyers ask for on the second call, in one place — so you can check Axero against your requirements list before you book a demo.

Standards and content

SCORM 1.2 packages, uploaded as a single .zip up to 500 MB and played inside your intranet — no external player or third-party cloud. Lessons can also be rich text, uploaded or embedded video, documents (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), or a live reference to existing Axero content. Any lesson can carry audio narration and a next-steps checklist.

Quizzes and completion

Four auto-scored question types — multiple choice, true/false, multi-select, and fill-in-the-blank — with per-question point weighting and explanations. The passing score defaults to 80% and is configurable per quiz. Completion is calculated by the system: every lesson finished and every quiz passed. SCORM lessons report their own completion and can't be marked done by hand.

Tracking and export

Per learner: progress, time spent per lesson, SCORM session time and score, and every quiz attempt kept separately rather than overwritten. Completion issues a certificate with its own certificate number and date. Three dashboards — organization, course, and learner — filter by date range and persona and export to CSV.

Questions buyers ask

Axero LMS, Answered

How do employees get enrolled in a course?
Four ways. Learners can enroll themselves when a course is open for it. An admin can assign a course directly, or bulk-enroll up to 200 people at a time. And courses can auto-enroll by persona — a rule-based audience built from user profile fields like department, location, or job title. Auto-enrollment re-runs on a schedule, so someone who joins the company or changes departments gets picked up without anyone remembering to do it. Courses can also require a prerequisite course before enrollment opens.
What can we show an auditor to prove someone completed training?
Completion is computed by the platform, not self-declared — a learner can't tick a box to finish a course. For every learner and course you get the enrollment date, the date they started, the date they completed, completion percentage, time spent per lesson, and every quiz attempt with its score and pass/fail result. Attempts are stored individually rather than overwritten, so the history shows the second and third try, not just the passing one. Completing a course issues a certificate carrying a unique certificate number and issue date.
Which SCORM version does Axero support, and how big can a package be?
SCORM 1.2, specifically — export your module as SCORM 1.2 from your authoring tool. Upload it as a single .zip up to 500 MB. Axero tracks lesson status, score, session time, and bookmark data, so a learner who leaves halfway through resumes where they stopped, and a failed attempt is recorded as failed rather than as still-in-progress. Packages are unpacked and played inside your own intranet — the content doesn't leave the platform.
What can a lesson actually contain?
Five kinds of lesson: rich text, video (uploaded to Axero, or embedded from YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, or Loom), documents (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), a SCORM 1.2 package, or existing Axero content. On top of that, any lesson can have audio narration that plays at the top, and a next-steps checklist the learner has to work through before the lesson counts as complete. Lessons group into chapters, and chapters can release on a schedule — a set number of days or weeks after the course starts, or after the previous chapter is finished.
Can we reuse intranet content we've already written instead of rebuilding it?
Yes. A lesson can point at an existing article, blog post, wiki page, video, or file already published in Axero. It's a live reference rather than a copy, so when someone updates the source wiki page, the course teaches the updated version. That matters most for policy and process training, where the intranet page is already the thing people are told to follow.
What reporting comes out, and can we get the data out?
Three dashboards: an organization-wide view, a per-course view, and a per-learner view — filterable by date range and persona. Each exports to CSV (the organization and course exports arrive as a zip of several CSVs). The export is deliberately more complete than the screen: it includes the full roster, including people who were enrolled and never started, which is usually the list you actually need. Fields cover completion rate, learning hours, average time to complete, per-lesson completion and drop-off, best quiz score, and enrollment and completion dates. Managers also get a My Team view of their direct reports' status, resolved live from the org chart.
Can we run the LMS without rolling out the whole intranet?
Yes — Axero LMS is available as a standalone learning app as well as a module of the full platform. Either way it runs on Axero, so training uses your existing user accounts, permissions, and sign-on rather than a separate learner database you have to keep in sync. That also means starting with the LMS doesn't strand you: if you add the intranet, comms, or knowledge base later, your courses and completion records are already there. Talk to us about which shape fits your rollout.
